I am the product of the village that raised and prayed with me. I come from a line of tufuga ole aganuu ma le gagana, tautai ole sami, fanua ma le vao, master weavers, orators, story tellers, visionaries, educators, composers, and innovators. My values are embedded in everything I do: Atua (God), Aiga (Family) and Alofa Fetausia’i (to share Love).
Born and cocooned in Laloaoa Musumusu, I am spiritually, culturally, physically and socially connected to my surroundings and the universe. I am blessed, gifted and honoured to bring the vision of my ancestors and elders to Aotearoa New Zealand and to share it with the world.
FALELALAGA is a vision of my ancestors!
A story of migration and survival for all Samoan born and raised in different soils and the strength that survived with us. A landscape of reviving traditions and gagana using the arts of weaving, patterns, carving, past historical events, tala ole vavau, tala tuu ma mafuaaga, songs and poetic genres of Matuau’u and Auseepapa.
Our connectivity to each other and the universe and the significance of understanding who we are in relationship to time and space. Community requires commitment and Falelalaga is committed to share its ato ponapona filled with the sacred knowledge and specialised skills of its ancestors with the community.
Eeeeee lau ava lea le Atua, ia muaau ma muliau oe i laasaga uma!!
Soifua ma ia manuia,

"Corban loves and enjoys playing on his fala pepe. We do our fofo, mat time, sit, read and lots of sensory play on it. He enjoys looking and playing with the wools and all the different colours weaving into the pandanus."
Maria, Samoan Mum in Auckland
" Falelalga provided us with contextually grounded Samoan concepts to explore teaching practice. Through learning Samoan weaving, our teachers were able to connect personal intergenerational stories through experiencing the art of lalaga firsthand and are passionate in revitalising in culturally sustaining ways."
